Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machinist/Welder to join our team. This is a union position and candidates must understand and are comfortable working in a union environment. We are adding an additional team member to support growing operational needs.

You will be instrumental in producing high-precision metal components following engineering specifications and contributing to high-quality fabrication and machining work.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manual lathes and milling machines (minimum 5 years of experience required).
Perform MIG welding on aluminum (minimum 3 years of experience).
Utilize torch cutting and plasma cutting equipment for precise metal cutting.
Read and interpret blueprints including welding symbols.
Operate a sit-down forklift for material handling.
Perform fabrication work and assist in modifying or creating metal components.
Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience on aluminum.
Proficiency with torch and plasma cutting methods.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
Sit-down forklift experience required.
Fabrication skills are preferred but not required.
Certifications not required hands-on practical experience is essential.
