Job Summary
The Lead Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing End of Line - Module & Software strategies to reduce DTCs defect during Launch Production Stopships & Warranty Issues. This role involves overseeing the planning execution and implementation status across Global Plants. The Lead Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and plan. Additionally this position involves managing a team of End of Line - Module & Software and coordinating with Stakeholders which EOL/VCT -Advance Mfg Launch Production Plant Quality PD MP&L GMTS & GDIA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive End of Line - Module & Software strategies & drive to reduce DTCs defect during Launch Production Stopships & Warranty Issues.
- Identify potential EOL/VCT DTC Failure trends opportunities and Quality Projects.
- Collaborate with with Stakeholders which includes EOL/VCT -Advance Mfg Launch Production Plant Quality PD MP&L GMTS & GDIA & implement the business plan & strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of End of Line - Module & Software providing training & guidance.
- Lead Virtual ECU validation deliverables
- Build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders to support initiatives & implementation plan.
- Track & maintain End of Line - Module & Software deliverables reports and recommendations status & report out the status to Supervisor for review & approval.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electorics & Communication. Masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3 years) & Strong knowledge of EOL Plant Process & Tools.
- Proficiency in Physical Breadboard Virtual ECU HIL & SIL knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop & drive innovative solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously.
