Essential Functions:

• Sincerely greets and welcomes all guests and maintains a professional presence when interacting with guests.
• Assures timely delivery of all food and beverages; assists in some food preparation.
• Operates a point of sale rings in proper amount into register and gives guest correct change.
• Maintains a clean neat organized site as well as a comfortable environment for each guest.
• Performs all side work duties as described for assigned shift.
• Stock and maintain the cleanliness of area empty garbage wipe tables and sweep.
• Assists in all aspects of this operation when necessary.
• Embracing the role of a barista means diving into the world of Starbucks signature drinks! Its an exciting journey where youll get to master the art of crafting these beloved beverages. From the creamy lattes to the refreshing cold brews each drink tells a story and youll be the one bringing them to life!
• Follows all standard safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Count out cash drawer at end of shift.
• Adheres to attendance guidelines and follows all regulatory departmental and company policies.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be the age of 18
• Having a positive attitude is important! Its great to be able to smile make eye contact and easily connect with people when communicating.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Neat clean appearance.
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling to include nights holidays and weekends.
• Requires knowledge of operating point of sale.
• Must be multi-task oriented and work well under pressure.

Physical Mental and Environmental Demand:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Position requires 90% standing 10% walking.
• Able to work in a stressful high-volume restaurant.
• Mobility to include bending reaching prolonged standing and walking accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Requires some bending pushing twisting kneeling climbing stooping and reaching overhead.
• Must be able to respond to touch speech smell aural and visual cues.
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke.
• Work requires use of a computer and/or cash register
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for long periods of time.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Earn between $16.00/hr plus tips

Shift Details:

• Swing Shift: 3:00 pm -11:30 pm
• Late Swing Shift: 7:00pm -3:30am
