About the opportunity
The AMIS Support Officer leads a coordinated approach to maintaining core data in the Asset Management Information System (AMIS) supporting lifecycle management of university property and assets and enabling strategic decision-making. The Support Officer is responsible for managing AMIS data flows reporting configuration training and compliance and contributes to strategic projects and policy development.
What youll do:
- Identify opportunities and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of AMIS reports to increase usability of reports for relevant stakeholders. This includes keeping stakeholders informed of reporting options and tools.
- Assist in managing AMIS configuration and upgrades to ensure new and existing business requirements are met. This includes leading the planning and implementation of upgrades.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies policies procedures and training related to the use responsibilities access and workflow of the management of the AMIS.
- Identify potential improvements to AMIS processes to facilitate decision making analysis and the achievement of positive outcomes ensuring that accurate documentation process manuals are created and updated periodically and/or as required.
- Continuously monitor review and analyse AMIS systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance requirements. This includes providing feedback and advice to management and other stakeholders on issues relating to AMIS and its use as a reliable platform for KPI measurement and dashboard reporting.
What were looking for:
- A degree qualification in a relevant field combined with relevant practical experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience education and/or training.
- Electronic and verbal communication skills that foster rapport and information reception.
- High level technical software operation and development skills and understanding of asset management principles.
- Experience in complex multifaceted organisations such as a university.
- Demonstrated experience with GIS CAD and BI software and experience in the application of best practice project management methodologies (desirable)
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116872 comprising base salary within the range of $92120 to $99891 plus 17% superannuation.
