Our Client seeks an RS ECT for a well-established and supportive school just south of Chelmsford city centre. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 and contribute to a curriculum that promotes philosophical debate ethical reasoning and cultural awareness.

This 1118 school educates around 1200 pupils and benefits from modern learning spaces a broad pastoral system and strong outcomes across Humanities subjects. The RS department uses a variety of teaching approaches including discussion-based learning reflective tasks comparative religion studies and social-ethics projects. Pupils respond well to structured lessons and the department provides strong schemes of work for ECTs.
Staff describe the school as friendly thoughtful and academically focused. ECTs receive weekly mentor support targeted CPD behaviour guidance and several reduction periods to support planning. Leadership is committed to staff retention and provides opportunities to take part in enrichment projects or cross-curricular initiatives.
