The Release Engineer 2 works collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. The Release Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Release Engineer 2 helps automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev test and production environments. Understands department segment and organizational strategy and operating objectives including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods occasionally in ambiguous situations and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
  • Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and practice
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive release plans
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Effective leadership and analytical skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification
  • Prior experience in the health solutions industry

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.


$80900 - $110300 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
