Project Engineer Heavy Civil Construction (Kingman / Flagstaff AZ Region)
Salary Range: $80000 $110000 (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in heavy civil construction specializing in underground utilities and earthwork. This position will support projects throughout the KingmanFlagstaff region ensuring smooth coordination between the field office and project management teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and proactive capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of safety quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely on time and within budget.
Coordinate daily operations with superintendents and foremen including materials subcontractors equipment and quality control.
Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Manage scope changes assist with scheduling and process change orders.
Support project planning including definition scope resources and baseline scheduling.
Prepare and coordinate key plans such as traffic control erosion control safety and equipment mobilization.
Communicate effectively with clients vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely high-quality execution.
Utilize Viewpoint for project documentation cost tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent field experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction (earthwork underground utilities highways or structures).
Proficiency in Viewpoint preferred; experience with Alternative Delivery methods (Design-Build CM/GC) is a plus.
Strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
