About the Job

Our R&D department is a vital part of theBusiness Unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers which manages global sales and development of GPHE products. Within R&D theExisting Product Development (EPD)team is dedicated to continuously improving our current product portfolio.

As we face exciting challenges in building a more sustainable and energy-efficient future we are expanding our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to global sustainability goals. The team operates from two main locations:LundandShanghai and combines a broad spectrum of design expertise for industrial and sanitary applications with a dynamic mix of younger and older members fostering diverse perspectives balanced experience and effective global collaboration.

Key responsibilities for this role entail:

Design & Development:Responsible for design work adding new features and implementing improvement suggestions.
Technical Calculations:Performs pressure vessel and structural calculations.
Technical Support:Provides support to Operations Sales R&D and investigates claims.
Product data: Responsible for managing and updating technical product data to ensure quality and availability in our configuration system
Collaboration:Works cross-functionally with various departments to ensure effective solutions

This position is based in Lund Sweden.

What you know

A degree inMechanical Engineering preferably with a focus on product development or mechanics.
A structured and analytical mindset with the ability to zoom in on details while keeping the bigger picture in view.
Strongproject managementandcommunication skills with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
Experience with3D CADFEA andPDM systems.
Experience working with codes and standards (e.g. EN13445 and ASME VIII) is a plus
Fluency inEnglish both written and spoken.
