About the role:

TheCanada Regional Teamis responsible for deepening Remitlys connection with customers in Canada by optimizing and innovating the regional experience across our platform. Our mission is to ensure customers in Canada have a seamless localized and trusted experience when sending money to their loved ones around the world.

As part of this team you will focus on enhancing the end-to-end customer journey from onboarding and payment experiences to compliance and delivery specifically tailored to the needs of our Canadian senders. Youll collaborate closely with bothcross-functional partners(in product design marketing and operations) andcross-engineering teamsacross Remitly to identify opportunities for growth deliver impactful features and strengthen Remitlys position as the most customer-centric remittance provider in Canada.

You Will:

• Design build and maintainscalable systemsthat power and localize theCanadian customer experience in close partnership with global and regional engineering teams.

• Partner with product and data teams to analyze performance and customer feedback using insights to drive localized improvements.

• Collaborate with global platform compliance and payments engineering teams to ensure consistency reliability and compliance across regions.

• Contribute to technical discussions code reviews and system design to ensure high-quality maintainable and resilient solutions.

You Have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.

• 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Experience working across the stack delivering products that delight end-users.

• Proficiency in one or more general purpose languages like Java JavaScript Go Python Kotlin C# or Ruby.

• Proficiency in one or more front-end framework like ReactJS React Native Vue or Angular.

• Experience working with Product Management and other partners such as Design.

Compensation Details.The starting base salary range for this position is $116000-$140000. In Canada Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
