Job Summary

Overview

Shift: Primarily Days

Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the department utilizing quality cost effective patient care principles. Supervises supports and develops department staff. Consistently utilizes a patient-centered holistic approach (considering physical psych/social spiritual educational safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned service area).Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services quality patient/family care and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing daily operations of patient care. Contributes to the maintenance of high-quality cost-effective services.
  • Assists UKG timekeepers when needed and approves timecards.
  • Reviews occurrence reports and follows-up.
  • Monitors sick calls andtardiness.
  • Provides clinical leadership by directing coordinating and delegating patient care in an organized manner while allowing for flexibility.
  • Acts as an interdepartmental liaison promoting effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assists in maintaining lab functions and updates.
  • Assists in maintaining supply stock equipment needs of the department.
  • Participates in patient care pertinentto each clinical specialty

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of anParamedic or Radiology Tech program

License/Certification: Holds an EMT/Paramedic license or Radiation Technologist certification with a certificate in RCIS or RCES or equivalent cath lab title.

Experience: Previous experience in a cath lab clinical or leadership position preferred
