The CT Powerhouse Cogen and Energy Team is responsible for the efficient generation of electricity steam and hot water for several CT sites. Furthermore the team oversees all site energy uses and assessments and drives the implementation of best management practices for efficient energy utilization. This includes interfacing with our internal customers various stakeholders engineers/architects and construction contractors. This is a great opportunity to Co-Op with a team oriented organization that drives successful results.
What You Will Do
As a Powerhouse Engineering Coop you will work alongside experienced energy experts and project engineers to gain experience in various aspects of industrial facilities projects including writing request for proposal documents engineering/design scheduling and coordination safety field oversight compliance quality and project turnover. The position will require walking around RTX Connecticut campuses and accessing several levels in buildings using stairs and buildings are not climate controlled and can be hot or cold depending weather conditions.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
