About the Opportunity

Were seeking anAssociate Attorneywith25 years of civil litigation experienceto join the firmsGeneral Liability Defensepractice inPhiladelphia. This group handles a broad range of matters includingpremises liability construction accidents auto and trucking claims negligent security and personal injury defense.

This role offers hands-on litigation experience direct partner collaboration and the chance to work on challenging high-exposure cases for some of the regions most respected clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ageneral liability defense caseloadfrom inception through resolution with partner oversight
• Draft and arguemotions including dispositive and discovery motions
• Conduct and defenddepositionsof parties witnesses and experts
• Preparepleadings discovery responses and client communications
• Attendmediations hearings arbitrations and trialsas needed
• Maintain accurate time records and meet firm billing expectations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the Pennsylvania Barand in good standing (New Jersey Bar a plus)
• 25 years of civil litigation experience ideally in general liability or insurance defense
• Excellentresearch writing and oral advocacyskills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Deposition and motion practice experience required;trial experience a plus
