Title: Clinical Supervisor

Location: Gresham Outpatient - 355 NW Division St. Gresham OR 97030

Schedule: This is an in-person position Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Wage Range: $72000.00 $82000.00 annually Salaried Exempt

Position Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor utilizes administrative evaluative clinical and supportive skills to ensure quality clinical care and monitoring of standards of care for the Outpatient Treatment services components of NARA NW. This position is essential to ensuring smooth staff communication and continuity of services for clients served in the Outpatient Program.

What you will do:

  • Understand the role of clinical supervision as the principal method for monitoring and ensuring the quality of clinical services.

  • Demonstrate and understand the multiple roles of the clinical supervisor including consultant mentor teacher team-member evaluator and administrator.

  • Address needs plan and systematically implement individual and group supervisory activities that promote clinical and program service improvement.

  • Use a leadership style that creates and maintains an environment based on mutual respect trust and teamwork.

  • Understand monitor and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and accrediting body i.e. Oregon Administrative Rules HIPAA 42 CFR Pt. 2 and MHACBO code of conduct.

  • Demonstrate disciplined empathy for substance use disordered individuals and an understanding of the illness concepts of addiction trauma informed care and demonstrate knowledge of the 12 steps or other support programs.

Qualifications

We would like to hear from people that have:

  • Must be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) II or III

  • Must have at least one years paid experience as a CADC.

  • Minimum two-years experience in the counseling and/or social service field.

  • Candidates will demonstrate empathy for substance use disordered clients and an understanding of the illness concept of addiction plus demonstrate knowledge of AA NA trauma informed care and other support programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients the community and other staff members.

  • Must pass a pre-employment or for cause drug tests.

  • Must pass criminal background and DMV checks.

  • Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community preferred.
