The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Supervisor is a pivotal leadership role responsible for elevating the standard of clinical practice and driving continuous improvement across our Speech-Language Pathology programs. This supervisor will oversee mentor and train our team of SLPs ensuring the delivery of high quality evidence-based services that meet the communication and developmental needs of our clients. This role can be based at one of our DFW clinic locations in Carrollton Colleyville Fort Worth or McKinney.
Leadership & Program Management
Supervision & Mentorship: Provide comprehensive clinical supervision guidance and direct mentorship to all staff Speech-Language Pathologists including formal supervision of Clinical Fellows (CFs).
Quality Assurance: Monitor evaluate and ensure adherence to best practices regulatory standards and internal policies in all assessments and treatment plans.
Resource Coordination: Strategically coordinate caseload assignments manage clinical resources and oversee the provision of essential assessment and treatment supplies.
Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the clinical expert and representative for the SLP department interfacing effectively with internal leadership external stakeholders and community partners.
Training & Professional Development
Onboarding: Coordinate the scheduling of training and onboarding for all new SLP staff.
Continuing Education: Coordinate staff development sessions and workshops to ensure the team maintains expertise in evolving standards within Speech-Language Pathology.
Skill Enhancement: Mentor team members in advanced clinical skills fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in treatment quality.
Collaboration & Interdisciplinary Practice
Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Proactively facilitate and strengthen interdisciplinary communication and collaboration particularly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other clinical professionals.
Program Implementation: Collaborate with leadership to assist in the development implementation and evaluation of therapy programs.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
Current active Texas SLP licensure is mandatory.
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology with a strong background working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) highly preferred.
