Summary:
The Treasury Associate role supports Mack Group Inc. a vertically-integrated contract manufacturing company with ten facilities in the U.S. and Mexico. The Treasury Associate is located at Mack Molding Companys headquarters in Arlington VT and is responsible for key Treasury-related tasks reporting and analysis across the following areas: risk management including customer credit risk banking investments corporate insurance and legal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Support Treasurer with customer credit approval process and monitoring of customer creditworthiness. Provide recommendations to Treasurer for adjustments to customer credit terms and/or credit limits as warranted.
- Maintain customer credit spreadsheet for all customers across two Mack Group operating companies.
- Facilitate requests for customer financial statements in order to evaluate key financial-health metrics and determine the degree of risk involved in providing credit to customers. For customers that are publicly-owned companies source and analyze public-facing financial information.
- Monthly/quarterly reporting to various senior internal stakeholders including Good Business Practices Report Mack Group Investment Summary Customer Exposure Reporting Cash Reporting and Total Customer Satisfaction Reporting.
- Produce recurring and ad-hoc business insights through detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Assist Treasurer with production of annual Mack Risk Report a comprehensive outline of key Mack Group business risks.
- Process requisitions for goods/service as needed.
- Support key Banking tasks such as daily banking review reconciling checks and electronic payments monitoring for exceptions/rejections and reviewing payables with others in Finance department on a rotating basis. Work to forecast interest income for the business and perform general cash management including cash forecasting.
- Support key Insurance-related tasks including claims activity policy negotiations and renewal data submission and certificate of insurance (COI) generation and tracking. Assist with Workers Compensation quarterly reserve and budgeting.
- Support internal and external audits such as annual insurance-related audits.
- Administrative and reconciliation support of Mack investments.
- Support Macks vendor/employee ACH enrollment process.
- Administration of Egencia travel account and corporate card payment reconciliation and administration.
- Manage various Treasury-related subscription services such as Dun & Bradstreet.
- May occasionally travel to other company locations.
- Other duties as assigned including cost savings opportunities and strategic projects.
Education/Experience:
A bachelors degree is required in addition to related professional experience in credit analysis risk management banking and investments. Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.
