Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse IV Therapyfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process with accurate timely documentation.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Perform venipuncture and vascular access procedures including midline and PICC line management.
Serve as charge nurse as needed and assist with staff orientation and education.
Utilize electronic nursing systems efficiently.
Participate in staff meetings ongoing training and relevant nursing committees.
Adhere to safety infection prevention and confidentiality standards.
Deliver professional patient-centered service to patients families and colleagues.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active RN license in Massachusetts.
BLS certification.
Previous IV therapy experience required.
Proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns (or ability to achieve within 6 months).
Experience with PICC insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs preferred.
Ability to achieve PICC placement proficiency within 1 year.
IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years.
BSN preferred.
Successful completion of facility pharmacology exam required.
