DescriptionAs a Process Engineer II at Honeywell LNG you will play a crucial role in Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) supporting the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Process
In this role you will impact the companys growth and competitiveness agaby driving technical excellence and innovation in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Process Technology ultimately enhancing the quality of Honeywells offerings. ( role in Allentown PA. No relocation offered.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering expertise to design and implement world-class natural gasliquefaction processes and equipment.
- Perform advanced process cycle simulations for natural gas liquefaction and related systems.
- Complete detailed thermal design of proprietary heat transfer equipment (coil wound heat exchanger) manufactured by Honeywell LNG.
- Conduct relief and depressuring scenario simulations for proprietary equipment using established tools and methodologies.
- Support plant operations through startup performance testing troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial project management mechanical design manufacturing machinery and start-upto ensure seamless project execution and drive product development and improvement.
- Participate in P&ID reviews and HAZOP studies at contractor offices to ensure safety and design integrity.
- Domestic and international travel to clients offices contractors and plant sites expected about 10-15 percent of the time.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
- 2 years of experience in chemical engineering.
- 1 years of experience with process simulation software like ASPEN or UNISIM.

The annual base salary range for this position is $92000 - $115000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
