Job Summary
Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Location: Saratoga Springs NY 12866
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 07:30)
No block scheduling
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic birthing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills experience circulating for cesarean sections and the ability to provide immediate stabilization and nursery care for newborns prior to transport when needed.
Requirements
Active New York State RN License (required)
Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Labor & Delivery experience with ability to circulate C-sections
Comfortable providing newborn stabilization and nursery care until transport
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Fetal Monitoring Certification (completed within the past 2 years)
Additional Information
Setting: Hospital-based Labor & Delivery Unit
Expectation: Ability to manage both maternal and immediate neonatal care situations
Orientation: Provided upon start
Contract Type: 13-week travel assignment
