Registered Nurse IV Therapy
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 58s
Pay Rate: $54$59/hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced IV Therapy RN for a 13-week assignment in Hyannis MA. The RN will provide specialized vascular access care support clinical teams and ensure safe high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process with thorough accurate documentation.
Administer medications and monitor patient response.
Perform venipuncture and vascular access procedures including midline and PICC line management.
Serve as charge nurse and provide guidance for staff orientation and education.
Utilize computerized nursing systems effectively.
Participate in staff meetings ongoing education and nursing committees.
Follow safety infection prevention and confidentiality standards.
Deliver exceptional service to patients families and colleagues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active Massachusetts RN license.
BLS certification.
Prior IV therapy experience required.
Proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns (or within 6 months).
Experience with PICC insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs preferred.
Ability to achieve PICC placement proficiency within 1 year.
IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years.
BSN preferred.
Must pass facility pharmacology exam.
