Basic Function: | Install program maintain troubleshoot and repair energy management computerized systems. Reports to Energy Management Supervisor or other designated supervisor. |

Examples of Duties: | Duties/essential functions may include but not be limited to the following: Install program monitor and maintain Direct Digital Control System components to include sensors transducers controllers and network devices in campus buildings; troubleshoots system identifies problems and implements changes to system; adds modifies and deletes computer programs for all energy management systems. |

Minimum Qualifications: | High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years experience in building automation systems to include repair and troubleshooting of DDC controls (or equivalent combination of education or experience which provides comparable knowledge skills and abilities). License/Certification: Valid Ohio drivers license with safe driving record. Knowledge Of: HVAC systems Skill In: Installation maintenance repair and troubleshooting of computerized DDC equipment Ability To: Program energy management controllers |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: | Exposed to dirt dust odors fumes electricity variable temperatures and weather conditions heights and potentially dangerous equipment (e.g. air handlers); requires moderate physical effort to include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds (e.g. spools of cable) climbing and extended periods of bending standing and stooping; may work varied hours to include evenings weekends and holidays; may be called to work in emergency situations; requires on- and off-campus travel. |
Working Schedule: | Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however schedule may vary to meet departmental needs. |
