Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift)

Location: Hyannis MA
Contract Duration:13 weeks
Shift: 312 Nights
Weekly Gross Pay: $2547

Position Overview

A confidential healthcare facility in Hyannis MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical Telemetry) for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience proficiency with cardiac monitoring and the ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments in an acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Use the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate up-to-date patient records.
Document physical psychological social and discharge-planning assessments throughout the hospital stay.
Summarize clinical findings and initiate individualized plans of care communicating with the care team as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency as a charge nurse when required.
Utilize computerized nursing informatics and hospital information systems effectively.
Serve as a resource nurse for patient care orientation and staff education.
Participate in quality-improvement activities monitoring care indicators and patient outcomes.
Adhere to all safety and blood/body fluid protocols.
Maintain ongoing professional development keeping knowledge and skills updated.
Uphold patient confidentiality and represent the facility professionally.
Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility (within the last 2 years).
Telemetry experience required.
Must pass:
- Basic Arrhythmia Exam (prior to start).
- Pharmacology Exam (prior to start).
Current Massachusetts RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
