Position Title: Physical Therapist Behavioral Health
Location: Cooperstown NY
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift & Duration: Days 83 26Week Assignment
Pay Rate: $50 $60 per hour
Weekly Pay: $1200 $1440 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingPhysical Therapist Behavioral Health for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cooperstown NY.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the designated Physical Therapy Consultant.
Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Review patient goals medical history and previous treatment details to inform intervention strategies.
Conduct standard muscle nerve joint and functional ability testing and interpret results accurately.
Provide physical therapy treatments and therapeutic interventions when clinically appropriate.
Complete thorough and timely documentation for assessments treatments and patient progress in the medical record.
Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams as needed.
Conduct brace and shoe clinics as required by patient needs.
Evaluate patients for wheelchairs mobility aids and other adaptive equipment.
Provide patient education related to mobility functional skills safety and equipment use.
Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Active New York State Physical Therapist license.
Experience in behavioral health psychiatric or complex care settings preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in clinical documentation and record-keeping.
Knowledge of mobility aids durable medical equipment and adaptive devices preferred.
Strong communication organization and patient-care skills.
