Role Description:

This role will form a core part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3000 talented individuals working in offices across India Romania and Philippines providing Capability Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services in collaboration with our global businesses.

Advanced Process Manufacturing within the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams that contribute to the design & development of innovative process engineering solutions in Pharmaceutical Semi-Conductor & Process industries. Our ability to effectively manage projects assess client needs and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes using the most innovative way of doing computational design.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze process data (e.g. temperatures pressures flow rates) to support design and Mass & Energy balance calculations.
  • Prepare and update process documentation including SOPs specifications and regulatory-compliant diagrams.
  • Provide process input to instrumentation teams contribute to project schedules and support milestone tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams participate in project reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards cGMP SHE and sustainability guidelines.
  • Deliver assigned tasks within agreed budgets and timelines while supporting continuous improvement in process design and project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles (e.g. thermodynamics fluid mechanics heat/mass transfer reaction kinetics and unit operations).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and statistical methods.
  • Good ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity

Nice to have:

  • Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.
  • Knowledge of process automation and control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems such as ISO standards WHO GMP.
