Job Summary

Leads and direct the work of other fueling personnel and gives instruction support and training to employees. Work consists of and includes the work of a Fueler.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Comply with the Locations attendance/tardiness standards.
  • Responsible for timely and efficient delivery of fueling and deicing services.
  • Reports daily to the supervisor and/or manager detailing status of daily operations.
  • Checks equipment for unsafe conditions and takes appropriate action to remove any such conditions.
  • Fuels aircraft using hydrant carts/stationary carts/trucks or other fueling equipment.
  • Responsible for defueling as required.
  • Deices aircraft using appropriate equipment and procedures.
  • Conducts weekly safety briefings as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of fueling and defueling procedures. Knowledge of deicing procedures. Work flex schedules. Must successfully complete Companys PST program.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as volume weight and gallons. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

Valid Drivers License. Possess/maintain a valid drivers license and other FAA Airport required identificaton/seals or authorizations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Split Shift Hours: Sunday - Monday 4:15 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Off Days: Friday Saturday
