Location: Burbank IL 60459
Duration: 22 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 3 11.5 hours (8:00 AM 3:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $44/hr

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking School Registered Nursefor an exciting job in Burbank IL.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 nursing care for an assigned student throughout the school day including bus transportation.
Monitor and respond to both acute and chronic medical needs such as seizures diabetes respiratory conditions and other health concerns.
Administer prescribed medications accurately and maintain proper documentation.
Assist with daily living activities including feeding toileting lifting mobility support and hygiene care.
Communicate effectively with teachers parents/guardians and clinical teams regarding the students health and daily progress.
Implement individualized health care plans and emergency action plans.
Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state federal and school guidelines.
Exercise strong clinical judgment while working independently in a school-based setting.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensure:

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
LPNs may be considered based on facility acceptance (RN strongly preferred).

Experience:

Experience in pediatrics special needs or 1:1 nursing strongly preferred.
Ability to manage complex medical needs including seizure disorders diabetes care feeding tubes or mobility assistance.
