Job Summary
Job Title: Travel Radiation Therapist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8s (Day/Night)
Travel Pay Range: $57$65/hr
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Travel Radiation Therapist to provide safe accurate and compassionate radiation therapy treatments under the direction of radiation oncologists. This role includes direct patient care treatment delivery safety compliance and support of daily clinical operations.
Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician prescription and clinical protocols.
Ensure patient safety comfort and education throughout the treatment process.
Observe and report patient responses and treatment-related concerns.
Assist with simulations treatment planning and maintain accurate documentation.
Perform daily machine warm-ups basic calibration checks and promptly report equipment issues.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and support daily scheduling and workflow.
Calculate treatment doses complete QA tasks and participate in quality improvement activities.
Support radium handling procedures (if applicable) and maintain thorough records.
Ensure accurate billing entries and provide guidance to students or new staff as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
Active Massachusetts Radiation Therapy Technologist license.
ARRT certification (or eligible within one year).
Current CPR certification.
