Essential Functions:
- Diagnoses and treats patients with acute and chronic illnesses injuries and diseases.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain information on patients conditions.
- Prescribes medications and therapies to treat patients conditions.
- Develops treatment plans and monitors patients progress.
- Educates patients and their families about medical conditions treatments and preventive measures.
- Maintains accurate and complete medical records for each patient.
Education Requirement:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent required.
- Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable required.
Licensure Requirement:
- Medical License in the State of Ohio required.
- Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications:
Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics required.
Experience:
Primary Care or Urgent Care experience preferred.
