Job Summary

Job Title: Quality Inspector Metal Forming
Location: Chesterfield MI
Shift: Day Shift (8AM5PM)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality and production activities within a metal forming environment. This day shift contract-to-hire position involves ensuring parts meet required specifications through hands-on inspection and documentation. Experience within a forging or metal forming setting is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of forged and machined components
Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges
Document inspection results and assist with quality reporting
Support production teams with in-process and final part inspections
Help maintain a clean safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

Previous quality inspection experience required
Blueprint reading and measurement capability a must
Experience in forging metal forming or manufacturing preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Dependable safety-minded and able to work effectively in a team setting

Schedule:
Day Shift: 8AM5PM (schedule may vary based on production needs)
