GENERAL OVERVIEW:
To assist the professional staff in the care and treatment of patients in accordance with the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Practice Act and to provide day to day upkeep and support of the functions of the occupational therapy department
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the clinical activities of the department by assisting the professional staff in patient care and patient care related activities as assigned at the direction of the department leadership.
- Contributes to clean and efficient departmental operations through supply management and routine departmental post patient use cleaning activities for all equipment and treatment space
- Collaborates with professional staff and leadership to ensure the most efficient allocation of tasks for the Aide within the changing flow of work within the department
- Performs various clerical duties as assigned by department leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred
- Microsoft Outlook
