The College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Knoxville invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure-track Audiology faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology The anticipated start date is August 2026.
Responsibilities include teaching supervising student research conducting research in an area of interest and service. Applicants with expertise in any area of Audiology or Hearing Science will be considered.
EDUCATION:Ph.D. or equivalent in Audiology Hearing Science or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:Strong record of scholarship commensurate with academic level in peer-reviewed journals and at professional meetings. A desire to work in a dynamic and collegial academic environment.
DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:Teaching experience in Audiology or Hearing Science courses. Experience seeking extramural funding to support a research program. Experience mentoring student research.
