What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who is passionate about inclusion human rights and child safety. You will bring curiosity creativity and a can-do attitude to your work supporting people with disabilities and their families to achieve their goals.
Do you:
Have previous experience as a Support Coordinator
Are you passionate about working with people with disabilities
Bring strong knowledge of the NDIS disability supports and family needs
Communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of people
Build strong relationships with families service providers and communities
Have excellent organisational skills independence and time management
Solve problems and think outside the square to achieve positive outcomes
Value working with people from diverse backgrounds
Have a can-do attitude and a commitment to quality and safeguarding
The role would include:
Assisting individuals and families to understand and implement their NDIS plans.
Linking people to mainstream community and provider supports.
Helping families prepare for plan reviews set new goals and troubleshoot challenges.
Monitoring budgets and ensuring people stay informed about their plan spending.
Advocating for choice and control while ensuring compliance with NDIA standards.
Contributing to service quality innovation and continuous improvement across the team.
