The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS)has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 First Line Manufacturing Support Manger (K Level) to support the KC-46A Program within the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) in Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.
- Provides oversight over the 5S Program and BDS Coordinators
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience working in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment
- 1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- Strong communication collaboration and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 1 years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT CMES & REDARS
- 1 years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Prior LSCC experience
- Understanding of One BPS process and principles

This role will be on 1st shift

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
