Position Summary:
The Senior Commission Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the Global Commission Team within our Finance organization. As part of this dynamic and collaborative group youll be responsible for monthly accounting entries reconciliations validations and ad hoc audit requestskey activities that ensure the accuracy and integrity of our commission financials and support informed business decision-making.
This role requires strong attention to detail analytical capability and a proactive mindset to identify process improvements enhance efficiency and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting addition this individual will provide administrative and operational support that helps streamline reporting and review processes enabling the team to focus on higher-value analysis and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post monthly commission accounting entries accurately and on time.
Perform detailed reconciliations of commission-related accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support audit processes by responding to ad-hoc audit requests and providing required documentation.
Assist with administrative tasks including document management filing and coordination of team workflows.
Collaborate closely with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve commission accounting processes.
Maintain clear and organized records to support internal controls and compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field (required).
Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience ideally including exposure to commission accounting or compensation-related financial processes.
Experience in corporate or global finance environments with multi-entity or multi-currency operations preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles reconciliations and audit support.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a professional finance team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
