What you will do
As Senior Inspector investigates Orphan Well complaints & completes referrals; interviews parties & witnesses; gathers records & documentation (e.g. photos drilling data cement records electric logs hydrogen sulfide H2S)
Conducts on-site meetings with operators &/or engineers contractors & consultants to explain permit conditions; makes policy & work recommendations
Drafts well descriptions & plugging plans for development of the Projects Scope of Work
Witnesses & monitors all phases of orphan & idle well projects such as approving plugging methods & plugging oversight drafts field orders & change orders for the orphan well program; tracks quantities
Investigates & evaluates contamination & pollution of soil or water resources & inspection & approval of restoration of disturbed land area
Acts as a liaison with other local county state & federal officials
This position requires travel to field sites to conduct inspections & to be available 24 hours/7 days per week to respond to calls &/or site inspections
Starting hourly pay of $30.55/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service with an end salary of $44.74/hr.

UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
