Job Summary
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night 5x8s
Local Pay Range: $50$56/hr
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver safe precise radiation treatments under physician direction. Responsible for patient care treatment delivery and adherence to all clinical and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Deliver radiation therapy per physician prescription and protocol.
Ensure patient safety comfort and education during treatments.
Monitor and report patient reactions.
Assist with simulations treatment planning and documentation.
Perform machine warm-ups calibration checks and report equipment issues.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and support daily workflow/scheduling.
Calculate doses perform QA tasks and participate in quality improvement.
Assist with radium handling (if applicable) and maintain accurate records.
Maintain billing accuracy and provide guidance to students as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
Massachusetts Radiation Therapy Technologist license.
ARRT registered (or eligible within one year).
Current CPR certification.
