Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (CWR)
Location: Edison NJ 08820
Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Patient Care Technicianfor an exciting job in Edison NJ.
Responsibilities:
Verify patient identification and prepare patients for exams admissions and procedures.
Perform phlebotomy EKGs vital signs glucose checks and specimen collection.
Provide hygiene and comfort care assist with feeding and support patient mobility/transport.
Monitor intake/output document patient weights and report abnormal findings to RN.
Maintain clean functional equipment; restock supplies; prepare rooms for admissions.
Respond promptly to call lights and support a safe patient-centered environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent PCT experience in an acute care setting (ED preferred).
Skills in phlebotomy EKG vitals glucose monitoring and respiratory support (oxygen trach vents).
Strong reliability and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
Epic experience preferred.
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma/GED; completion of a PCT program.
BLS (AHA) EKG Certification and Phlebotomy Certification.
