Your Responsibilities as a Construction Inspector:

• Inspect observe and ensure construction projectsincluding road construction mass grading and excavation and bridges are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
• Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients.
• Prepare and maintain records of plans inspections letters and reports used in connection with roadway and bridge inspection.
• Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.
• Travel to project sites as required.

What were looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Good knowledge of the practices used and the equipment required on construction projects particularly in the areas of roadway grading paving and bridge operations.
• Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A clean driving record.
• Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams to obtain them preferred.
