Job Summary
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Utica NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate From: $67/hr
Area: Radiation Oncology
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment in Utica NY.
Requirements:
Active New York Radiation Therapist license (required)
Minimum 12 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience
Must be proficient in operating:
Varian 2300ix
Varian EDGE
Varian TrueBeam systems
Knowledge and experience with Siemens CT Large Bore for simulation
Must be able to use Electronic Medical Records:
ARIA (required)
Familiarity with EPIC (preferred/required as stated)
Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and QA procedures
Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists
Operate Varian linear accelerators and simulation equipment effectively
Perform patient setup immobilization and verification imaging
Conduct daily machine and treatment room QA checks
Monitor patient conditions and respond to treatment-related needs
Document treatments and patient data accurately in ARIA and EPIC
Work collaboratively with dosimetrists physicists and clinical team for optimal patient care
