Position Title: Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation)
Location: Hyannis/Chatham MA
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Days (58 hours)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $50 $56/hr ($1875 $2100/week)

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation)for an exciting job in Hyannis/Chatham MA.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate new patients develop measurable goals and create individualized treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic assessments of muscle nerve joint and functional abilities to determine impairment and prognosis.
Administer therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
Maintain thorough documentation including evaluations plans of care progress notes and patient/family education.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and at-home care to promote continued improvement.
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and allied health staff regarding patient status and discharge planning.
Provide supervision and guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants Aides and students.
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff as assigned.
Ensure compliance with departmental policies safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Participate in continuing education professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate daily records of treatments patient activity and billing.
Consistently deliver high-quality patient-centered care aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred: Clinical Specialist Certification; ability to serve as a clinical resource and support specialty-area planning and supervision
