Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)
Location: Atlanta GA
Type: Contract
Pay Rate From: $48/hr
Area: Operating Room / Surgical Services
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a dynamic opportunity in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will have strong OR experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
Required: Active RN license
Required: BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing processes sterile techniques and OR equipment
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing preferred
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical settings
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care during surgical procedures
Function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse as needed
Prepare the operating room equipment and instruments before procedures
Coordinate patient care with surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical techs
Monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout the perioperative process
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and OR protocols
Document all intraoperative care and assessments accurately
