Press Brake Operator
Location: Marion OH
Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00am2:30pm (OT as needed)
Pay: $20/hour depending on experience
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Job Summary
A growing metal fabrication and machining company is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to support forming and bending operations for custom fabricated components. Candidates must have prior experience with CNC press brakes and the ability to consistently produce accurate high-quality parts.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brakes to bend sheet metal to specification
Select correct tooling dies and bend sequences based on job requirements
Interpret blueprints bend deduction sheets and fabrication drawings
Adjust machine settings to achieve proper angles radii and tolerances
Inspect parts using calipers protractors and other measuring tools
Troubleshoot minor press brake issues and maintain consistent workflow
Maintain production documentation and follow work orders/job travelers
Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC press brakes is required
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and instructions
Knowledge of bend allowances material behavior and tooling selection
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Ability to lift materials and stand for the duration of the shift
