The Opportunity!

As anInsurance Associateyoullplayan essential role in helping clients protect what matters mostwhetherthatstheir home vehicletravels or business. You will deliver exceptional client experience by providing clear advice accurate policy processing and reliable support through every stage of the insurance process. This isa great opportunityfor candidates who enjoy client interaction problem-solving and working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

A day in the life-

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations onappropriate coverageacross Personal or Commercial insurance lines.

• Support account servicing throughaccurateprocessing of documentation such as renewals endorsements invoices quotes and certificates.

• Follow up on leads referrals and renewal requirements to support sales and retention goals.

• Review policy documents for accuracy and ensuretimelyissuance to clients.

• Respond to client inquiries provide coverage explanations and help troubleshoot policy-related issues.

• Collaborate with Advisors Producers and Marketers to support client accounts and ensure a smooth servicing experience.

• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing learning and development opportunities.

What you will bring to the team-

• Minimum 1 year of insurance industry experience (Personal Lines or Commercial Lines).

• Level 1 General Insurance License (required).

• Level 2 General Insurance License is considered an asset.

• Strong customer service skills with a proactive client-first mindset.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail accuracy and follow-through.

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal.

• Comfort with sales-oriented activities such as upselling presenting coverage options or supporting renewal discussions.

• Proficiencywith standard office tools (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook).

• Industry designations (CIP CAIB CRM etc.) are an asset.

Salary Expectations

The expected salary range for this position is $48000 to $65000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits disability insurance RRSP matching paid-time-off benefits and eligible bonuses and commissions for some positions.
