Job Summary
Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Atlanta GA
Type: Contract
Pay Rate From: $34/hr
Area: Surgical Services / Level 1 Trauma
Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist for an exciting job in Atlanta GA.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of strong Level 1 trauma experience
Required: BLS certification
Proficiency with surgical instrumentation sterile field setup and trauma-related procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure fast-paced OR environment
Responsibilities:
Set up sterile fields and ensure all instruments are prepared for trauma surgeries
Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures anticipating needs in real-time
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques in a Level 1 trauma setting
Handle and prepare specialized equipment used in emergent and complex cases
Perform instrument counts and ensure OR readiness before and after each case
Support the surgical team during emergent situations requiring rapid response
