Protective Security Officer Position Summary:

Armed Security Officer part time for an educational building physical security in Oakwood Virginia. The Protective Service Officer will assist in the protection of college facilities property employees and facility guests. Wages for this position is 18.00 Hr.

Minimum Qualifications:

ÂMust be a U.S. citizen

ÂHave a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration

ÂBe at least 21 years of age.

ÂPossess high school diploma from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent certificate

ÂSpeak English fluently read and comprehend written English and compose coherent written reports in English.

ÂAnd meet one of the following experience/education requirements:

ÂTwo years ofArmedsecurity experience within the past five years; or

ÂTwo years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience

ÂPass the drug test and physical agility test if applicable.

ÂCompleted the required training; and pass the required examination(s).

Licenses or Certifications:

ÂDriverâs license and

ÂSocial security card or birth certificate and

ÂOther certifications (guard/clearance card gun permit OC permit Baton permit CPR First Aid.)
