Description

The College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis Tennessee is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Instructor/Assistant Professor. The UT Health Science Center embraces four missions: education research clinical care and institutional service and responsibilities will include these missions.



Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired. Responsibilities for this role include undergraduate in-person and online didactic and clinical teaching. Research/scholarship activities as well as service responsibilities will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.



Qualifications

EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

EXPERIENCE:Teaching experience in a BSN program preferred. Recent acute care and critical care hospital clinical experience is preferred. Teaching experience in health assessment medical-surgical and critical care is preferred. Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.

LICENSES: RN license.
