We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team at Nissan of this role you will support the sales department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical accounting duties to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining financial records with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Process invoices receipts payments and other financial documents
- Process title work for the state of Alabama
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting activities as needed
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Support other departments with accounting-related tasks as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in automotive accounting preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Familiarity with automotive accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Automotive Titles and state vehicle titling systems
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
