Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team at Nissan of this role you will support the sales department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical accounting duties to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining financial records with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Process invoices receipts payments and other financial documents
  • Process title work for the state of Alabama
  • Assist with month-end closing and other accounting activities as needed
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
  • Support other departments with accounting-related tasks as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in automotive accounting preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Familiarity with automotive accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Automotive Titles and state vehicle titling systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
