Job Summary

RFA Engineering () is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking entry-level to experienced candidates to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidates will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customers world-class engineering and manufacturing facility located near Green Bay WI.

Manufacturing Engineering Technician

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician you will help bridge the gap between engineering and manufacturing with a hands-on approach working with all departments within the company. This role is a vital resource working on new product development current product improvement and manufacturing process improvement. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the opportunity to work in both office and manufacturing floor environments.

Job Description

  • Support engineering change processes by processing documentation and communicating updates to the production floor.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Audit bills of materials (BOMs) against manufacturing drawings to identify and document discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update manufacturing routings in ERP systems to reflect accurate labor and machine time.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineer to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide input to enhance manufacturing efficiency accuracy and overall workflow
  • Analyze component changes and confirm design intent is met.
  • Review logs and error reports hold investigations and develop corrective actions
  • Assist in fixture and tooling design by providing feedback on usability safety and manufacturability.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with mechanical assemblies and BOM structures
  • Ability to read manufacturing and assembly drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Safety first mentality
  • Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft office products.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
  • Ability to use hand measurement tools (caliper micrometer tape measure etc.)

Pay Range: $55000-$65000 Commensurate with experience
