DescriptionThis is a part time county funded 4-H Youth Development Program Assistant II is responsible to the County Extension Director and works under the direction of the lead 4-H Youth Development Agent to implement approved educational programs in group settings to youth audiences in the area of 4-H Youth Development. This position will assist with conducting educational programs and maintaining program records. This position will plan execute and evaluate 4-H educational programs under the direction of the 4-H Youth Development Agent and the County Director. This is a county-funded position and is contingent upon the continued funding from the county.
Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively with community and state-level partners to implement specific program components of 4-H Youth Development Program.
- Assist in the delivery and maintenance of the 4-H Youth Development Program in the county.
- Maintain and grow positive partnerships with local organizations vendors agencies and general public in support of the 4-H Youth Development Program
- Assist with community needs assessments and evaluation requirements as needed.
- Provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race color national origin sex age disability religion or veteran status.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
- Be responsible for up to 20 hours per week.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- High School diploma GED or equivalent
- Two to three years of related experience desired
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Publisher and Word Perfect
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Teaching experience
Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Teaching skills to adult and youth
Work Location:
