We were meant to fly.As a Production Supervisor you will lead and support employees in the assigned area to achieve operational excellence in Safety Quality Delivery Inventory Cost and People (SQDC). You will ensure the execution of daily operations with a focus on reliability consistency and meeting customer demand while achieving on-time delivery targets.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Safety and Quality Focus:
Ensure compliance with allsafety protocolsand promote a safe working environment
Drive adherence toquality standardsand implement corrective actions to address any deviations
Team Management:
Provide clear direction guidance and support to team members to achieve operational goals
Foster a culture ofrespect collaboration and accountabilitywhile promoting professional growth and development
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily production operations to ensurereliability and consistencyon the production line
Monitor and optimizeproduction flowto meet customer demand and achieveon-time delivery targets
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
Utilizetechnical expertiseto identify and resolve production issues effectively
Make informed decisions with a focus onshort- and medium-term impactto improve operational performance
Continuous Improvement:
Applylean manufacturing principlesto identify and eliminate waste improve processes and enhance efficiency
Lead initiatives to driveprocess improvementsand achieve measurable results inSafety Quality Delivery Inventory and Cost (SQDC)
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering
Previous and solid experience in manufacturing
Able to read and understand technical drawings and instructions
Knowledge of machining & post machining processes
Strong team building skills
Basic English and Italian language knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
Desired Characteristics :
Previous experience in LPT (Low Pressure Turbine) casings and M&I (Marine & Industrial) Frames
Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a plus
Strong organizational skillswith the ability to plan prioritize and execute assignments to ensure successful completion within defined timelines and quality standards
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and resources effectively ensuring alignment withSafety Quality Delivery Inventory and Cost (SQDC)objectives
Proficiency inlean manufacturing toolsand methodologies with a demonstrated ability to apply them to drive process improvements eliminate waste and optimize production efficiency
Experience in implementingcontinuous improvement initiativesthat align with organizational goals and enhance operational performance
Strong analytical skillsto evaluate complex processes identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions
Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsto effectively lead and inspire teams foster collaboration and drive results
Ability to engage and motivate team members promoting a culture ofrespect accountability and continuous improvement
