DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineering Technician to support a 24/7 operational facility in Dayton OH. This is a full-time position with on-call responsibilities providing critical support for building operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and be capable of responding to emergency situations performing general repairs and supporting on-site staff needs.
Pay $20.60 an hour: or The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
1st shift position 7:30am-4pm - will have company phone and be on call for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technician on-site at the designated facility.
- Inspection of Fire Extinguishers and Emergency Lighting HVAC Knowledge a plus drywall repair light plumbing inspect restrooms (fix or replace toilets/faucets) Fix gates doors)
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and support on-call HVAC technicians.
- Perform general building maintenance including:
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Basic electrical work
- Mounting TVs and equipment
- Room setup and support for meetings
- Basic landscaping knowledge and experience (ie: planting seasonal flowers; operate leaf blower on sidewalks/paths etc.).
- Act as the go-to resource for facility-related requests from staff.
- Maintain a proactive approach to building upkeep and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems (no certification required but familiarity is essential).
- Skilled in basic plumbing electrical and general handyman tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certifications in HVAC electrical or plumbing are a plus but not required.
Additional Information:
- This role requires on-call availability for emergencies including nights and weekends.
- The technician will support a critical operations facility with high service expectations.
- Recruitment support will be provided by a local team with expertise in skilled trades.
